Overview
Andrew became a tenant of Garden Court Chambers in November of 2005. In that time Andrew has developed a wide ranging practice in public and administrative law concentrating on asylum; EU free movement rights; the points based system and nationality.
He has extensive experience of representation in the First Tier and Upper Tribunals, the Administrative Court and the Court of Appeal. Andrew wrote the chapter on the points based system for the eighth edition of Macdonald's Immigration Law and Practice.
Andrew is also developing a successful public access practice. With successful applications on behalf of public access clients to the Home Office, on appeal to the First Tier Tribunal and by way of judicial review. He also carries out regular advice in conference with public access clients.
