Valerie practises in all areas of immigration law, in front of Adjudicators, the tribunal and the High Court. She also practises within nationality law. Covering the full range of civil work, she specialises in environmental law including nuisance, toxic torts, actions relating to pollution and planning.
She also has expertise in judicial review, consumer credit, discrimination law and all aspects of employment law, civil actions against the police, personal injury and medical negligence and inquests.
Immigration Law
Valerie practises in all areas of immigration law, in front of Adjudicators, the tribunal and the High Court. She additionally practises within nationality law.
Valerie has run training courses and workshops in relation to asylum and other areas of immigration. She has a particular interest in Turkish cases, and same sex relationships.
As a civil practitioner she pursues professional negligence cases in the immigration field and judicial review in relation to entitlement to benefits of asylum seekers.
