Despite the decent homes programme which has resulted in major investment in the housing stock, disrepair remains a major problem with over 1.2 million non decent privately rented homes and over 1.1million non decent social rented homes. Two of the authors of the 4th Edition of Repairs: tenant's rights, recently published by Legal Action Group, will give an overview of recent developments in disrepair law, including the proposals in the Final Report of the Review of Civil Litigation Costs, which was published on the 14.1.2010, in relation to disrepair claims. The seminar will also provide information on best practice in running a disrepair claim which will be particularly useful for solicitors new to disrepair law. Cost £20 plus VAT = £23.50
