About the speakers
John Beckley undertakes a broad mix of housing law work with expertise in defending vulnerable clients and in possession and eviction cases. He also has extensive experience in community care, social security and asylum support.
Tim Powell is a judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). Prior to his appointment as a judge, he was a housing solicitor with his own firm, Powell Foster, in Brixton. He has extensive knowledge of the law and procedure concerning leasehold disputes.
