Garden Court Chambers invites tenancy applications from practitioners at all levels of call to join our Administrative and Public Law Team.
We are looking for those who wish to continue with their developed areas of public law, while also seizing the opportunity to develop their practice in new areas. As a multidisciplinary chambers, our public law practitioners have cross-cutting practices spanning substantive expertise in areas including asylum and immigration, including detention, community care, education, housing, planning, social security matters, prisons, mental health, and criminal justice.

Most of our barristers are also individually ranked in Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 across several jurisdictions.
We have a proud history of winning ground-breaking cases of constitutional importance. Our legal challenges have overturned great injustices in many landmark decisions. Equally, our barristers fight hard for cases that do not hit the headlines but are nonetheless vital for defending the rights of those we represent.
We are keen to receive applications from practitioners who are aligned with our ethos and a good fit for our chambers. Our membership is diverse and includes barristers who have previously practised in law firms, charities and NGOs as well as legal academics.
