Minka Braun and Lucie Wibberley, both of the Garden Court Chambers Crime Team, represented defendants alleged to have carried out a retaliatory gangland shooting. Both were acquitted after trial.
Minka Braun was instructed by Jude Lanchin of Bindman Solicitors and Lucie Wibberley was instructed by Sinead Zaman of PSP Solicitors.
This all-female legal team secured an acquittal for both of their defendants, who were alleged to have carried out a retaliatory gangland shooting.
And as a further sign of the changing times; The trial was presided over by Her Honour Judge Barbara Mensah, a well-respected judge with the distinction of having been the first Circuit judge of African origin.
