Maya Sikand, a member of the Garden Court Chambers crime team will be speaking at this years Criminal Bar Association spring conference. Maya specialises in criminal defence work, criminal judicial review and extradition. She has recently begun to focus much more on crime related civil work, in particular, police actions, death in custody inquests and prison law.
The conference will be spread over two days in Birmingham and will include workshops and lectures on Sentencing & parole for dangerous & prolific offenders, dealing with young offenders, Criminal appeals and miscarriages of justice.
