Garden Court's Dexter Dias QC has published an article in The Guardian on the UK's failure to provide adequate protection to the many thousands of young women and girls in the UK at risk of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). In the co-authored article, he provides an analysis of 10 reasons why the anti-FGM law has failed and offers 10 solutions. Garden Court has been involved in some of the most high-profile cases involving the protection of those vulnerable to genital mutilation.
