Garden Court is pleased to announce that a new book by Dexter Dias QC on human rights is published by Penguin Random House on 1 June 2017. The Ten Types of Human is in part based on cases he has conducted with colleagues at Garden Court and social justice causes chambers has supported, including fighting FGM and child slavery in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The book explores the interface between human rights and human psychology, invoking both cutting-edge neuroscience and the stories of remarkable people and social justice campaigners from four continents. Dexter also draws on his research at Cambridge and Harvard.
