Garden Court Chambers is delighted and proud to announce that Di Middleton has been appointed Queen’s Counsel.
Di Middleton QC was called to the Bar in 1997 and is a leading criminal defence barrister. She is regularly instructed in cases of the highest severity, across the full spectrum of high-level crime including murder, terrorism, serious violence, drugs, fraud and sexual allegations.
She is known for her assiduous close analysis in high-volume cases including those which involve special procedure material, forensic audio and visual material, and expert scientific evidence. She is also highly regarded for her tactical acuity in cases involving multiple defendants, cross-allegations and “cut-throat” defences.
Di formally became a silk on Monday 13 February when she was sworn in as Queen's Counsel by the Lord Chief Justice at a ceremony at the Royal Courts of Justice.
