Garden Court Chambers is delighted to welcome Eva Doerr as a new tenant.
Eva specialises in all areas of public and human rights law, with a focus on immigration and asylum law and challenges based on the Equality Act. She was called to the Bar in 2019.
Eva regularly appears before immigration tribunals and the Administrative Court and has particular expertise in retained EU law post Brexit and refugee family reunion in Europe. Eva also accepts instructions in protest, employment and equality cases.
Building on her past experience and her refugee law knowledge in the context of the global movement of people, she is a trustee of Refugee Legal Support which runs pro bono legal clinics in Athens and the UK. She is part of a three-person team overseeing RLS casework in the UK.
Prior to joining the Bar, Eva worked for over four years, on a wide range of immigration and public law matters at Laura Devine Immigration solicitors.
