The Garden Court Chambers Community Care Team's new Social Welfare Law website has been launched today.
This new interactive website covers adult care, children, incapacity, education, welfare benefits, migrants, equality, health care, mental health, housing and international law, all from a community care/social welfare law perspective. Click here to view the website.
The authors will publish case law and other updates in the "Update in Progress" box, as close as we can to when they happen. The Update in Progress box can be browsed at will. At the end of every month, the completed update, covering the full range of topics on the site, will be emailed out for free to all those who have registered as users. The material will also be archived in fully searchable archives, topic by topic. The authors will also publish more substantial practice notes on points of topical interest. The more recent practice notes can be found on the home page and older practice notes in a fully searchable archive. Users will be able to leave comments on the site about the Updates and the Practice Notes by topic. The authors hope this will encourage productive discussion in each of the areas of law and will be a valuable resource for all practitioners in Social Welfare Law.
