The Garden Court Family Team maintains its long-standing commitment to victims of domestic abuse. It continues to support NGO’s such as Southall Black Sisters and Rights of Women with free of charge assistance where it can.
Given the current situation and the determination of the Garden Court Family Team to continue its free of charge support, where it can, a number of our team members are offering free assistance to key workers who may seek to secure legal protection from domestic abuse.
Members of the family team are able - where capacity allows - to offer a free hour of legal advice to key workers who seek legal advice on how to secure an injunction to protect themselves from harm. Key workers should contact our Public Access Clerks on 020 7993 7600 or pa@gclaw.co.uk.
We are a limited pool of barristers but where we can help we will. This initiative is in association with Advocate, the Bar's national charity that supports free legal assistance from volunteer barristers.
