Garden Court welcomes Ed Elliott and Matt Brooks to the Family Team

Garden Court Chambers is delighted to welcome Matt Brooks and Ed Elliott to the Family Team. Both are experienced child law practitioners, as well as having matrimonial finance experience, and both previously practised at Goldsmith Chambers.

The expansion of the Family Team comes at a time when an increasing volume and complexity of family law case work is coming into Garden Court Chambers.

Senior Family and Immigration Clerk Rob Abrahams said "We had in a way become a victim of our own success - our reputation in child law, particularly in care work, had increased faster than the team had grown. The consequence had been that we were sometimes struggling to have barristers available to meet clients' demand. Having Ed and Matt as part of the team not only means that we have a greater choice of barristers available. With their ancillary relief experience, we now genuinely provide a complete family law service under one roof for the first time."
