Garden Court Chambers is delighted to welcome Russell Fraser to its expanding Crime Team. Russell is the Chair of the Haldane Society of Socialist Lawyers.
Russell Fraser is a criminal defence practitioner working in the youth, magistrates' and crown courts with a growing practice in public order and protest cases. Russell is a co-founder of the Justice Alliance campaign to stop cuts to legal aid. He regularly writes on legal issues and has been published by the New Statesman, The Justice Gap and New Left Project.
Russell joined the expanding Garden Court Chambers Crime Team, winners of the Legal 500 Crime Set of the Year 2015 award, in March 2016 after completing his third-six pupillage in Chambers.
