John Letts and Sally Lane, the parents of a Muslim convert nicknamed “Jihadi Jack”, have pleaded not guilty to funding terrorism.
The couple have been accused of funding terrorism after they allegedly sent £1,723 to their son, a Muslim convert, who has travelled to Syria to join the Islamic State terrorist group. Mr Letts and his wife have been released on bail and are due to go on trial on 9 January.
