Henry Blaxland QC represented Mark Andrews, a pension administrator alleged to have been involved in a scheme to abuse the government's relief at source payment system.
After a three-month trial at Birmingham Crown Court, the judge allowed a submission of no case to answer on charges of conspiracy to defraud and conspiracy to cheat.
