The inquest into the death of Nicholas Dymond began on 19 June and concluded yesterday, 28 June at Exeter Coroner's Court.
On 31 October 2018, Nicholas died after being struck by a train at St James Park Railway Station in Exeter. He was 44 years old.
Hours before his death, Nicholas was discharged from The Cedars, a psychiatric hospital run by Devon Partnership Trust, after being detained under s.136 of the Mental Health Act.
The inquest jury concluded that Mr Dymond's preventable suicide was contributed to by neglect.
