We are delighted to announce that Ricky Blennerhassett has joined Garden Court Chambers as a new tenant.
Ricky is a housing and public law barrister. He has a particular interest and experience in all areas of housing, including homelessness and public law accommodation related areas such as community care.
Ricky accepts instructions in the full range of housing matters, which includes defending possession claims in their various forms, including on ASB grounds, homelessness appeals, disrepair claims, succession, ASB injunctions and committals. Ricky’s practice includes advisory work and written advocacy. This includes drafting particulars of claim, advice on merits and quantum, and grounds for judicial review.
In his public law practice, Ricky accepts instructions in judicial review cases. He has experience in advising and drafting grounds in homelessness cases and has a particular interest in cases concerning welfare benefits and community care.
