Russell Fraser, led by Bill Evans of Millennium chambers, represented the sixth defendant. He was acquitted of perverting the course of justice.
The deceased, Mehmet Koray Allergen, was kidnapped along with his girlfriend and taken to a business premises in Tottenham where he was tortured and killed.
Later a vehicle contained the deceased was driven to the defendant’s industrial unit on an estate in N17. The Crown’s case was that he assisted in the transfer of the body to another vehicle before it was driven away from the estate and abandoned in Essex woodland.
