A teenager, represented by Keir Monteith of Garden Court Chambers, has been found not guilty of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm (GBH) at the Central Criminal Court. The prosecution claimed that the conspiracy to commit GBH was the trigger for the murder of Che Labastide-Wellington.
The teenager cannot be named for legal reasons. A number of co-defendants have been found guilty of wounding with intent and conspiracy to commit violent disorder.
The case has been reported in the media, including by the BBC and the Evening Standard.
Keir Monteith is a member of Garden Court’s Crime Team. He led Jay Nutkins from Lloyds PR and was instructed by Natasha Patel at Lloyds PR.
