Tim Baldwin has been instructed to act for the family of Natalie Thomas at the inquest into her death. The inquest, which starts today, is taking place at Westminster Coroner's Court and is due to last for three days.
Natalie died in psychiatric care in St Charles Hospital on 2 January 2013. As INQUEST outlines here, Natalie's family hope that their concerns over the treatment and care Natalie received will be addressed. These include:
1. The adequacy of risk assessments and care planning
2. The role of a primary/named nurse
3. The adequacy of the audit process
4. The adequacy of documentation
5. Security provisions
