After a month-long trial KN was found not guilty of conspiracy to defraud and associated money laundering allegations.
The case involved voice, handwriting, financial experts and over 10,000 pages of evidence. There were 46 claims totalling £944,206.18 with associated money laundering allegations. Numerous alias names were used and the prosecution described the conspiracy as sophisticated. Three defendants pleaded guilty and two others were found guilty.
