Gregor is an experienced family law practitioner with particular specialism in the law relating to children. He has always worked in areas of law which have a strong human rights dimension, often applying this knowledge in cases which involve elements of both family and immigration law.

Background

Gregor practised from chambers in Gray's Inn for 10 years and joined Garden Court in 2016. Gregor began his legal career as a caseworker at the Refugee Legal Centre and has experience of all aspects of immigration law ever since. He sits often as a judge in the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal, having been appointed to the part-time position in 2007.

His academic studies led to degrees from universities in England, Canada and Scotland including an LL.M in human rights law and a further Master's degree in European Union law.
